I was in town for Christmas Eve at the hotel nearby. The good was good but the service was EVEN BETTER. There was a separate Christmas party taking place so it was great to be able to sit in a section that was quieter.

The environment is pleasantly decorated with festive trinkets and really cool light-up trees. The food is good quality. I ordered the cod, the portion size matched the price. Lastly, the spinach and artichoke dip was the best I ever had (usually I’m not a fan). The leftovers didn’t last long! Will visit again.

Traveled from Kansas to experience our first Packers game in person! We’re staying in De Pere and walked over to this cute little sports bar. We loved the atmosphere and the people! We tried our first Spotted Cow and Cheese Curds. Both were outstanding!! The cheese curds came with french fries which was really neat to us. We ordered the original burger and a pub burger! I didn’t try the original, but my pub burger was fantastic! We really loved the experience, the food, and the way the employees made us feel at home. We hope to make this an annual trip and we’ll be sure to stop at The Abbey every time. Thank you again for the great food and hospitality (: GPG!!

Good place to grab drinks, some food, and catch a few games. College campus area so that definitely plays into the vibe of this spot. I tried the chicken strips and cheese curds (pictured); my partner had the Nashville burger and tots (not pictured). Typical tavern food but that's what we came in for so we were not disappointed.

Definately had to check out a place called "The Abbey" essentially on/adjacent to the St. Norbert catholic college campus. Went for Happy Hour and of course had the cheese curds (on special) which are offered plain, garlic or spicy. And it comes with fries. A Wisconsin staple, they did it well. They do over 30 beers on tap including several local varieties which is awesomeness for beer lovers. Defiantly an old-school Wisconsin bar vibe with lots of games, fun signs, and a big space. Good service from Rachel C.

I did some reading and researching before choosing a place to eat before the Packers preseason game. The Reuben was awesome and our server Katie was just delightful. Great decor. We made a great choice in The Abbey.
